Customers on the Airtel Network in Nigeria
can now enjoy a 50% bonus plus a complimentary 2GB data bundle courtesy of the
company’s newly introduced 3.75G platform, which offers High Speed Mobile
Internet across 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja
The company says it is also offering one free
one-month subscription for BlackBerry users who activate a two-month plan.
Equally, all new customers on the network can now enjoy a bonus N100 airtime on
any recharge from N100 and above, plus complimentary 10MB data valid for seven
days.
These value offerings are coming on the heels
of Airtel’s recent move to roll-out its 3.75G platform pan-Nigeria.
While speaking at the launch of the High
Speed Mobile Internet in Lagos, this week,the company’s Chief Executive Officer
and Managing Director, Rajan Swaroop said the introduction of the 3.75G
platformis consistent with its objective of offering customers quality,
innovative and affordable value offerings that will enable them succeed in
their daily endeavours.

Airtel’s Mobile Internet offers five channels
for data bundle activation in all the 36 states of the federation including the
FCT and it enables users access the Internet at a speed of 42 million bits per
seconds.
To activate and experience the Airtel 3.75G
data speed transmission, customers are advised to send a preferred product code
via SMS to 141 or dial *141*1# on their mobile device.
Customers can also activate data bundle plans
via My Airtel My Offer (MAMO) toll-free Interactive Voice Response on 141,
while those who prefer the WAP or WEB route option can activate through
Airtellive.com and selfcare.ng.airtel.com, respectively.
Airtel also provides after sales support and
product information on its 3.75G or any data related issue to customers through
well trained and dedicated staff at its showrooms and retail distribution
outlets across the country.
