2013 GRAMMY AWARDS: Winners List, What Celeb Wore

Gotye arrives at the 55th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, in Los Angeles.
Kate Beckinsale was done to the hilt as usual, only this time she attempted a more “casual” look that’s just as constructed as everything she puts out there. I think Kate looks gorgeous, as she always does, and I like that she has her hair pulled up in loose curls. It highlights her pretty face instead of bringing attention to all the fake hair she has. Kate was in a short Zuhair Murad one-shoulder cream gathered gown with a black ribbon detail. It also featured a trailing chiffon scarf-like loop at the side. It was a decent dress and appropriate for the event but it looked like it should have been knee length instead of so short.
Miranda Lambert was in a peachy-biege embroidered cap sleeve Pavoni gown that had some superficial features in common with Taylor Swift’s dress. I don’t love it and found it somewhat predictable, but it looks nice on Miranda and I like her styling. Kaiser and I were talking about this dress and she thinks it’s very pageanty and similar to a lot of the other tacky dresses Miranda wears. It’s not bad for what it is I guess. What’s up with her shoes, though? Look at her toes peeking out under her dress.
Julianne Hough really rocked a tight sleevess black and grey Kaufman Franco with abstract bamboo-like stripe detail. I love this dress and find it both contemporary and very flattering. Julianne’s styling leaves something to be desired, though. Her makeup could be bolder and her hair is kind of underwhelming with that center part that ends halfway down her scalp. Still, one of the better dresses of the night.
    Kimbra
Nashville resident Kelly Clarkson picked up the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album at Sunday's awards show, and she was in good company backstage at the Grammys as well.
The original "American Idol" champion, who's performing at Sunday's ceremony, posted a photo to Instagram of her dressing room door, which featured the names of her roommates: Alicia Keys and Miranda Lambert.
"Our dressing room rules!" wrote the "Stronger" singer.
Clarkson later uploaded photos of her glam squad curling her hair, as well as a close-up of her glittery custom nail polish.
"Should we call it 'Stronger'?" she asked.
Most of the awards for R&B were announced before the 55th Annual Grammy Awards began Sunday night, but there were some trophies saved to build excitement during the actual live segment of the show.
Frank Ocean took the honor for Best Urban Contemporary Album, which was presented by Kelly Rowland and Nas.

“I hear that the way you disarm an audience is to look at them as if they were naked, but I wanna look at you all as kids in tuxedos and stuff like that,” Frank Ocean said as he accepted his speech. He then went on to thank his fans, mother and record label, Def Jam.
The Odd Future affiliare was up against steep competition including Miguel for ‘Kaleidoscopic Dream’ and Chris Brown‘s ‘Fortune’ — the latter looked visibly surprised when Ocean’s name was announce as the winner.
“I had the honor and privilege working with all three of these young men nominated in this category,” Nas revealed before Ocean stepped to the stage.
The Best Urban Contemporary Album is a new category introduced by the Grammys this year
Carrie Underwood, one of the most attractive contestants to go on American Idol, is also arguably the most successful as well.  After winning Season 4 of American Idol, Underwood released Some Hearts in 2005, and hasn't looked back since.  This was Underwood's sixth Grammy Award.  This is Unerwood's first win in Best Country Solo Performance, which she was also nominated for in 2012 for "Mama's Song."  Underwood has also won for Best New Artist, Best Female Vocal Country Performance three times, and Best Country Collaboration with Vocals when she and Randy Travis won for "I Told You So.
Zac Brown Band's Uncaged is the 2013 Grammy winner for Best Country Album!
"I want to thank all the people who help us to do what we do, our whole team. I want to thank all of country radio, Southern Ground, all our folks back home," frontman Zac Brown said, fighting back tears as he accepted the gramophone. "To all my guys who backed me up, and backed my playing no matter what it was ... much love to everybody who supports us. Our fans. Our family. We love you."

So far, the chart-topping Uncaged has spawned the hits "Goodbye in Her Eyes" and "The Wind." Zac co-wrote 10 of the album's 11 tracks, putting a lot of focus on how each would sound during the band's live show, rather than worrying about what fits in on country radio. "We're not just going to take some songs from a focus group in Nashville where people are sitting around in a circle having appointments trying to write catchy songs so they can sell them to a band like us," the three-time Grammy winner tells The Boot. "You can tell all our songs come from us and from our artists, the people we write with and travel with. You can hear us in them and you can hear the chemistry in our band because we live together as a band. I don't think a lot of bands and artists work as hard as we do on the creation, on the writing, the arrangements and the recording in our format."
Zac Brown Band's latest project triumphed over albums by Miranda Lambert, Hunter Hayes, Jamey Johnson and the Time Jumpers for the Best Country Album Grammy.

Fun. continued their winning streak with the Best New Artist award at the 2013 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The band – made up of members Andrew Dost, Jack Antonoff, and Nate Reuss – already picked up the prestigious award of Song of the Year for their track “We Are Young” earlier in the show.
Fun. beat out Frank Ocean, The Lumineers, Alabama Shakes, and Hunter Hayes for the award.
