How Oba Of Benin’s Wife, Queen Esther Died

The death of the first wife of the Oba of Benin, Queen Esther Erediauwa in the early hours of last Sunday came as a rude shock to the people of Benin City in Edo State and the Oba, Omonoba Erediauwa could not control his emotion, when he learnt of the incident.

First Weekly exclusively gathered that the late Queen Esther Erediauwa died from complications arising from diabetes.

Sources revealed that one of the legs of the woman was amputated before she eventually died.

The entire Benin Kingdom has been mourning since the tragic death of Queen Esther.

Both the Oba of Benin and Comrade Governor, Adams Oshiomole were seriously devastated by the sad news as the woman was the first wife of the Benin monarch.
