Obanla Yetunde Oreoluwa fondly called OYIBIRI is one of the highly rated classiest Nigerian gospel artists today, this unique and multi talented singer , producer and band leader has a spelt binding, captivating voice and energy, She hails from Abeokuta, Owu in Ogun state.
She attended Otun nursery and primary school, VATLAND grammar School in Agege Lagos state and Lagos state university an higher institution where she studies HISTORY and INTERNATIONAL STUDIES years back.
Yetunde is fondly called OYIBIRI by her friends and fans due to a memorable stage performance when she ministered popular Yoruba song OYIBIRI KAN MI O...... couple of years ago.
Obanla Yetunde Biography shows that the talented singer was born in a Muslim family to the family of Alhaji and Mrs Fatai Obadairo, she became a born again Christian in the year 1999 through De-Cross Gospel mission, An arm of Dr Ebenezer Obey Evangelistic ministry.
Yetunde's music career started professionally in the year 2000 when she really joined a popular gospel band that belongs to a legend juju music act, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, the founder of De-cross gospel mission, and she was doing very okey as a backup singer. She has worked under a group called Exousia group in 2011 where she later met with talented wave making singers in Nigeria and she has performed live on stage with majority of them.
Yetunde has received different awards in her career so far, as her latest album titled YET I WILL PRAISE HIM is still trending on airwaves, she's still working tirelessly to shoot the video of the album.
Yetunde Obanla wedding to her husband is blessed with 3 cute kids, she got married to Ayodele Obanla in the year 2006 and they are both doing well. Aside music, Presently Yetunde works with AIICO Insurance company in Lagos state.
