Chukwuma Onuekwusi, Channels Television’s State House Correspondent, is dead.
The veteran journalist died in hospital in Abuja, early hours of tuesday.
He has covered several beats on Channels Television before he was seconded to cover the Presidential Villa as the State House correspondent.
An excellent reporter who joined Channels Television from 1998, he showed great passion for his job.
A perfect gentleman and a great family man, Onuekwusi was a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also worked at the Imo Broadcasting Corporation, Owerri.
He died at the age of 55 and is survived by his wife and children.
