Croatia will compete in its first World Cup final after putting an end England's dream in Moscow with a dramatic extra-time win.
England's World Cup dream came to a sad end on Wednesday as Croatia won 2-1 in the semi-final to qualify for their maiden final at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
Mario Mandzukic scored in extra-time after the game ended 1-1 in regulation time to take Croatia through and they will now face France in the summit clash on July 15.
Croatia became only the second team to take their match to extra-time for the third consecutive time.

Before Wednesday's match, they had defeated Denmark 3-2 via penalties in the round-of-16 and then went onto beat Russia 4-3 via shootout in two nail-biting fixtures. The only other team to do so was England in 1990.

England fans were left heartbroken after the match and took to social media to express their disappointment at the result.
England will now play Belgium in the third-place playoff on Saturday, but their players are devastated by the fact that they came so close to playing in the final.
