Heineken Lagos Fashion Week 2018
Finally, The Heineken Lagos Fashion Week is here, the leading event on the African Fashion calendar, attracting thousands of fashion experts, enthusiasts and media across the continent and beyond. This seasons event will feature over 50 designers showcasing their Spring/Summer 2019 collections as well as the Fashion Business Series.
The schedule for the show comprises:
Thursday: The Dew Collection, Russell Solomon/ Cynthia Abila (FF), Lagos Space Programme Fruche, Nack Hephzibah, Ladunni Lambo, Kiki Kamanu, Anyango Mpinga, Kiko Romeo, DNA by Iconic Invanity, Maxivive, Ejiro Amos Tafiri and Kelechi Odu.
Friday: Bloke(FF) Demure By Denike(FF), House of Kaya, DZYN, Moofa, Ugo Monye, Black Coffee, JZO, Maybelline, Mitsubishi presents: Sisiano, Sunny Rose, style Temple, Rich Mnisi, Tongoro, Studio 189, Odio Mimonet and Lisa Folawiyo.
Saturday: House of Deola & Clan, Jermaine Bleu(FF), XII, Elie Kuame, Tokyo James, TTYA, Adama Paris, Gozel Green, Amy Kasbit, Lamisigo, Sisiano, Eki Orleans, Maxhosa by Laduma, Meena, Nkwo, Mai Atafo, Maki Oh and Orange Kulture.
The sixth edition of the Ake Arts and Book Festival
In a departure from previous years, the sixth edition of Ake Arts and Book Festival will take place in Lagos from 25 -28 October 2018 to be headlined by renowned novelist Nuruddin Farah. This year’s theme is Fantastical Futures and events and conversations will focus largely on a re-imagined African future, whilst exploring the exciting wave of Afrofuturism across the continent.
This year has interesting events listed like the memory room, panel discussions, Drama Festivals, Film and documentaries.
Guests have the opportunity to experience all the activities once they have fully registered.
