Xaiomi Launches Redmi 10,000mAh, 20,000mAh Power Bank Capacity

Chinese technology brand Xiaomi has expanded its Redmi lineup with the launch of two power banks in its home country. To recall, the company created Redmi as a separate brand in January 2019 and since then Xiaomi has been launching smartphones under its umbrella. These are first power banks to be launched by Xiaomi under the Redmi lineup.

The two power banks offer 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh battery capacities and have been priced at CNY 59 and CNY 99 respectively. Both power banks are up for reservation on Xiaomi China’s official website and will be available starting July 23, starting 10 am in China.

This power bank comes with 74Wh large capacity battery with fast charge support up to 18W maximum output for both the USB-A ports. These ports are claimed to charge two devices with 5.1V to 3.6A. The device supports both micro-USB and Type C ports as input ports.

Xiaomi claims that with this power banks, users can charge the Redmi Note 7 3.5 times and iPhone XS 4.8 times.

The power bank is claimed to come with high precision resistive capacitive sensors and advanced chip circuits that are said to help in avoid overcharge or over discharge. The Redmi 20,000mAh power bank measures 154x73.6x27.3mm and comes only in White colour option.

This power bank comes with 37Wh high capacity battery. Like the aforementioned power bank, this does not support fast charging. It also offers two USB-A ports that are said to charge devices with 5.1V to 3.6A. Measuring 150.5x73.6x15.1mm, the Redmi 10,000mAh battery power bank also offers dual input support of micro-USB and Type-C port.

Xiaomi claims that with this power banks, users can charge the Redmi Note 7 1.5 times and iPhone XS 2.3 times.
