AnTuTu, the popular benchmarking platform to measure the performance of SoCs, has revealed the best mobile chips of the year 2019 based on metrics such as gross performance, technological innovation and profitability.
Announced as part of the 2019 AnTuTu Awards: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC took home the honor for the best performing SoC, while Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 810 and MediaTek Helio G90T shared the award for being the most profitable SoCs to reach the benchmarking platform in 2019. Qualcomm, Samsung, MediaTek and Huawei offers jointly shared the technological innovation award.
It should be noted that the AnTuTu Awards 2019: SoC exclude Apple's internal A-Series SoCs, along with new offers such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 that have not yet arrived on a commercially available device. The winners of AnTuTu Awards 2019: SoC in different categories are listed below:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+: Badge Performance Award
Snapdragon 855+ from Qualcomm, which reached phones like the Realme X2 Pro and Samsung W20 5G, won the 2019 AnTuTu Awards: SoC for being the best performing SoC. The Snapdragon 855+ had an average score of 480,000, leaving behind another flagship silicon of Huawei, Samsung and MediaTek.
Most profitable award: Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 810 and MediaTek Helio G90T
Despite being limited only to devices with the Huawei and Honor brand, Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 810 shared the 2019 AnTuTu Awards: SoC in the profitability category with MediaTek Helio G90T SoC. The MediaTek offer is aimed at affordable phones focused on games and has reached the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
Technological innovation award: Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, MediaTek Dimensity 1000L and Samsung Exynos 980
In the Technological Innovation category, AnTuTu crowned four winners from four different chip manufacturers. Huawei's flagship, HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G, shared the award with Samsung's Exynos 980, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G and MediaTek's first 5G SoC, Dimensity 1000L, which recently reached Oppo Reno 3.
