    Nigeria Records Fresh 108 COVID-19 Cases

    The Nigeria Centre for Disease has announced One Hundred and Eight new cases of the Coronavirus disease as the total case surge to 981 as at Thursday night, April 23 2020.

    According to the NCDC, Lagos recorded 78 cases, 14 cases in FCT, 5 cases in Ogun, 4 cases in Gombe, 3 cases Borno, 2 cases in Akwa Ibom, 1 case in Kwara and 1 case in Plateau.

    Plateau State has become the 26th State to have Coronavirus infection as the state records its first case.

    The health agency also announced that three more persons have died from the Coronavirus bringing the death toll to Thirty-One while there is no discharge recorded today, total still One Hundred and Ninety-Seven.

    The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, who made this known, added that the total number of infections in Nigeria has risen to Nine Hundred and Eighty-One.

    As at 11:30 pm 23rd April there are 981 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
