Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite Receives NBTC Certification

The world’s first 108MP camera smartphone was the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro aka Mi Note 10. Late last month, an FCC listing leak suggested the company to launch a new version of this device called Mi Note 10 Lite. Now, this device has also received NBTC certification in Thailand suggesting an imminent launch.

The NBTC listing of Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite reveals it to come with model number M2002F4LG. Other than that, it confirms support for only 4G networks, which is obvious as the previous leak suggested it to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730.

The FCC leak also exposed most of the handset’s primary specifications including those of display, camera, battery, and software.

The Mi Note 10 Lite, like the vanilla Mi Note 10, will be powered by the Snapdragon 730G SoC, sport a 6.47" FullHD+ AMOLED display, and pack a 5,260 mAh battery, charging at up to 30W. But that's where its similarities with the regular Mi Note 10 (model number M1910F4G) end.

The document shared by Xiaomi on FCC's website reveals the Mi Note 10 Lite will feature a penta camera setup on the back, which will be a combination of one 64MP, two 8MP, one 5MP, and one 2MP unit. Besides, the smartphone won't come with laser auto-focus.

Moreover, while the Mi Note 10 booted Android 9 out of the box, its Lite version will run the latest Android 10.

There's no word from Xiaomi about the Mi Note 10 Lite yet, but we expect to hear more about it in the coming weeks.
