2020 has been a rough year for some smartphone makers due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, after a tepid Q1 and a hard Q2, companies are starting to recover and resume their plans.
Xiaomi is a good example. The Chinese giant is celebrating its ten years in 2020 and is gearing up to reveal two special editions of its best handsets at the moment. The company is expected to reveal commemorative editions of the Mi 10 Pro and the Redmi K30 Pro as soon as in the next week (August 11). The first will receive a new variant dubbed Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.
The Ceramic model ill come in two distinct variants with either 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal Storage. When it comes to the Transparent version, it will go higher with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Storage or whopping 16GB of RAM with 512GB of Internal Storage.
The Mi 10 Ultra will boast Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865+. These newly revised chips boost the clock speeds to 3.09GHz resulting in a general improvement in the performance. When it comes to the GPU, the phone will debut with a jaw-dropping technology allowing users to customize the power of the GPU.
The phone flaunts a 120Hz AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. It draws power from a 4,500mAh battery with 100W or 120W fast wired charging and 55W wireless charging. Today we got a couple of leaked images showing the cases and the wireless charger for the handset.
