    Nigeria Records 2 Deaths, 126 New COVID-19 Cases

    According to the latest reports released on Sunday by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 126 new COVID-19 cases has been recorded in 11 states and the Federal  Capital Territory.

    The new update brings the tally of infections in the country to 58,324.

    The health agency also noted that 72 patients have recovered and have been discharged in the last 24 hours, while the country reported two more coronavirus-related deaths.

    FCT tops the chart with 30 new cases of the virus infections followed by Lagos, Rivers and Ogun with 24, 23 and 13 cases respectively.

    Other states with new virus infections cases as follows: Katsina-9, Plateau-9, Ondo-6, Kaduna-4, Kwara-4, Imo-2, Bauchi-1 and Edo-1. 

    According to the health agency on September 27, 2020, 126 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

    Till date, 58,324 cases have been confirmed, 49,794 cases have been discharged and 1,108 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
