In a tweet via its official handle, NCDC said 33 cases were identified in Lagos, 27 in Plateau, 17 in Kaduna, 6 in Ogun and 4 in Federal Capital Territory. While Anambra, Ekiti and Nasarawa reported one case each.
NCDC added that the death of COVID-19 cases has increased by 5 while 93 patients have been discharged after testing negative twice from the disease on Tuesday.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has conducted about 443,987 tests since the first confirmed case relating to the COVID-19 pandemic was announced.
According to NCDC on the 15th of September 2020, 90 new confirmed cases and 5 deaths were recorded in Nigeria
Till date, 56478 cases have been confirmed, 44430 cases have been discharged and 1088 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
