    Nigeria Records 170 New COVID-19 Infections, 3 Additional Deaths


    Nigeria has recorded 170 new novel coronavirus infections with 3 coronavirus related death recorded in 10 states and Federal Capital Territory in the last 24 hours.

    With the new confirmed cased, a total of 62,691 COVID-19 infections have now been recorded across the country. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this via its official twitter page.

    181 patients were discharged from isolation centers across the country.

    Lagos reported 106 cases of the new virus confirmed on Friday, followed by FCT with 25 cases, Oyo had 14 cases. While Edo, Kaduna reported 7 cases each, Ogun had 4 cases.

    Other states with new cases include: Bauchi-2, Benue-2, Kano-1, Osun-1 and Rivers-1.

    Since the beginning of the outbreak in Nigeria in February, more than 620,758 samples have been tested by NCDC, out of which 62,691 were positive.

    NCDC on the 30th of October 2020, reported that 170 new confirmed cases and 3 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

    Till date, 62,691 cases have been confirmed, 58,430 cases have been discharged and 1,144 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
