    NCDC Confirms 110 New COVID-19 Infections


    Confirmed infections of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) rose to  67,330, as Nigeria on Saturday night recorded 110 new confirmed infections of the virus with no additional COVID-19 related deaths in 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory .

    While 133 new patient have been successfully treated and discharged in the last 24 hours.

    Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this announcement through its its official Twitter handle. 

    The health agency’s data showed that Lagos accounting for 26 infections, the highest number of infections for the day, while FCT confirmed 23, Kaduna reported 20 and Kastina had 11 infections.  

    Other states with new cases include: Ogun-7, Ekiti-6, Plateau-5, Rivers-4, Kano-3, Nasarawa-3 and Niger-2.

    The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has conducted about 756,237 tests since the first confirmed case relating to the COVID-19 pandemic was announced.

    According to the health agency, on the 28th of November 2020, 110 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria.

    Till date, 67,330 cases have been confirmed, 62,819 cases have been discharged and 1,171 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
