Rwanda finished second behind Morocco, who topped the group
with a 5-2 thrashing of Uganda.
Needing to claim all three points to book a place in the
quarter-finals at the expense of Togo, Rwanda trailed 2-1 before goals from
Jacques Tuyisenge and Ernest Suriga within the space of eight second-half
minutes handed them victory.
Togo, who would have gone through with a draw, led through
Yendoutie Nane before Olivier Niyonzima equalised for Rwanda in first-half
stoppage time at Limbe Stadium in Limbe.
Bilal Okoro put Togo back in front five minutes into the
second half but Tuyisenge restored parity on the hour mark.
Suriga then turned the match on its head with his side's third goal of the game and Rwanda held on to secure their passage to the last eight.

Defending champions Morocco's place in the quarter-finals was rarely in doubt, although they did fall behind to Ibrahim Orit's opener 25 minutes in at Stade de la Réunification in Douala.
Goals from Ayoub El Kaabi, a double by Sofiane Rahimi and Hamza El Moussaoui gave Morocco a 4-1 lead before Saidi Kyeyune pulled one back with six minutes to go.
Charles Lukwago's own goal in stoppage time put the gloss on a superb performance for Morocco.
The tournament is scheduled to continue tomorrow with the
conclusion of Group D, after which the quarter-final line-up will be complete.
