The additional cases reported today were found in 17 states
and the Federal Capital Territory.
Of the new cases reported on Friday, 101 are in Lagos, 96 are
in Anambra, 50 are in Edo, 29 are in Abia and 28 cases in Imo state.
Ogun confirmed 19 cases of the virus, Akwa Ibom with 16 and Kaduna
with 13 cases.
Seven infections were found in Abuja, the Federal Capital
Territory, six cases each were recorded in Bayelsa, Kano and Oyo.
Delta and Rivers confirmed five cases each, Nasarawa with four
cases, Ebonyi and Osun confirmed three cases each and two infections in Gombe.
Our discharges today include 831 community recoveries in FCT and 169 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
