The daily fatalities have declined again on Wednesday .
COVID-19-related death toll in country remained 2,031 with no
additional deaths reported.
Meanwhile, the number of recoveries were raised to 148,726.
after the health agency via its official
website reported that 196 COVID-19 patients had recovered and were
discharged across the nation.
NCDC added that discharges today include 73 community recoveries in Akwa Ibom State and 20 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in the nation further
fall on Wednesday by 341. The current active cases COVID-19 stand at 11,421.
The breakdown of new cases showed that Lagos topped the list
with 28 infections, followed by Yobe with 28, Akwa Ibom with 10 and Cross River with 9 cases.
While Kaduna confirmed six infections, Kano had five, Edo with
four cases, Oyo and Plateau reported three cases each.
Jigawa and Osun also recorded two cases each and Borno, Nasarawa, Rivers and Sokoto reported one case each.
