    COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 1 More Death, 156 New Infections

    Nigeria reported another 156 cases of COVID-19 in 10 states and the Federal  Capital Territory. The nation’s total now stands at 164,912.

    According to Tuesday’s report, 50 cases were recorded in Lagos, 43 in Enugu, and 40 in Adamawa.

    FCT reported 8 cases, Ogun had 5, Akwa Ibom and Plateau reported 3 cases each. Jigawa, Kaduna, Oyo and Rivers confirmed 1 case each.

    The death toll in the nation has risen to 2,063 as 1 more deaths were recorded.

    Resolved cases increased by 49 in the past 24 hours. There were lower resolved cases than new cases on Tuesday.

    Nigeria's total COVID-19 active caseload currently stands 7,837.

    Today's report include, data from Enugu State are recorded on the 20th- 26th of April, 2021. And Adamawa State cases are recorded over the period of two weeks, NCDC noted.

    According to the Nigeria Centre  for Disease Control NCDC's Tuesday report, COVID-19 infections tally in Nigeria reached 164,912, while the death toll from the virus stands at 2,063 and the number of recovered COVID-19 patients is now 155,012 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory as the worst pandemic in a century escalated across the world.
