    COVID-19: Nigeria Reports 120 New Infections

    The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC added 120 new coronavirus cases in Tuesday’s report, bringing the cumulative number of cases in the nation to 164,423.

    Today's report includes data from Enugu recorded between the 14th and 19th of April, 2021. NCDC noted.

    Another 22 people recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours, resulting in 7,956 active cases of the virus across the nation.

    Across the most populous country in Africa Tuesday there were cumulatively 154,406 COVID-19 recoveries cases reported since Feb. 27 last year.

    Health officials reported no new coronavirus deaths among Nigeria residents in Monday’s report, making the total number of people who have died during the pandemic remained 2,061.

    The latest report from the health authorities shows the new cases were found in 7 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

    The breakdown of cases by state as follows Enugu-53, Lagos-22, Rivers-18, Ogun-8, FCT-7, Abia-6, Kano-5 and Bauchi-1.
