The country reported no additional deaths, the confirmed
death toll remained 2,061.
Meanwhile, 154,225 Nigeria residents were reported to have recovered from COVID-19, which is about 94.1 per cent of known cases. Resolved cases increased by 48 in the last 24 hours.
Which includes 21 community recoveries in Akwa Ibom State managed in line with guidelines.
Active cases in Nigeria now stand at 7,625 — up from the
previous day when it was at 7,599.
The report released shows that the new cases were reported
across 8 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
New cases reported Tuesday include 30 in Lagos, 11 cases each Enugu and FCT, 8 in Akwa Ibom, 5 in Osun, 4 in Kaduna, 2 cases each in Ebonyi and Rivers, and Ekiti reported 1 infection, according to Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC.
