According to the health agency, no deaths were recorded on Wednesday.
And having fully recovered and tested negative to coronavirus, 45 patients were
discharged from hospitals.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control data shows that the tally of people who have contracted the virus in Nigeria has now risen to 164,000, out of which 154,270 people have recovered and have been discharged. While 2,061 people have lost their lives to the pandemic.
NCDC added that today's report includes data from Adamawa State recorded from the 23rd of March, 2021.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in Nigeria stands at 7,669.
The breakdown of the new cases shows that Lagos topped the
list with 19 infections, followed by FCT, Adamawa and Akwa Ibom with 15, 12 and
10 cases respectively.
Cross River reported 9 cases, Rivers and Ogun had 6 cases each,
Kano reported 5, Kaduna confirmed 4 and Osun reported 3 cases.
