The new update by the health authorities takes the overall tally to 163,736.

The gap between daily infections and daily recoveries
confirms the disparity as against 84 new infections, Nigeria reported 25
discharges in the last 24 hours.
With Saturday's report, the active cases in the country increased
by 58 and now 7,578.
According to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC, till date, 163,736 cases have been confirmed, 154,098 cases have been discharged and 2,060 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The breakdown of the newly recorded infections by state on
Saturday as follows Lagos-26, Akwa Ibom-16, Rivers-10, Ebonyi-9, Abia-6, Kano-6,
Osun-3, Bauchi-2, Delta-2, Edo-1, Jigawa-1, Kaduna-1 and Ogun-1.
