According to Wednesday’s report, Nigeria recorded another 43 cases of COVID-19 in six states.
No new death linked to the illness in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, thirty-six Nigeria residents were reported to have recovered from COVID-19 in past 24 hours. Resolved cases increased by thirty-five from one the previous day.
The new cases include nineteen in Lagos, fourteen in Rivers, five in Karina, three in Jigawa and one cases each in Kano and Oyo.
With the new update, COVID-19 infections tally in Nigeria reached 165,852 on Wednesday, while the death toll from the virus stands at 2,067 and the number of recovered COVID-19 patients is now 156,456 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory as the worst pandemic in a century continues to spread across the world.
