    Esther Chukwuemeka Becomes Nigeria's Youngest Lawyer

    Esther Chukwuemeka, a young girl who completed her secondary education at the age of 13, got denied of her university admission by ABSU because she was underaged, has now been called to the Nigerian Bar.

    Esther, 20 years old has been called to the Nigerian Bar, thus making her the youngest Nigerian lawyer to be called to Bar.

    Esther who hails from Okigwe, Imo State, reportedly finished her secondary school at the age of 13.

    She passed her Senior Secondary School exams and got admission to study at the Abia State University (ABSU).

    But  she was denied admission because she was underaged.

    BarristerNG reports that her father picked up the challenge and sent her to India to study law where she graduated in flying colours

    Upon completion with her studies in India, Esther then returned to Nigeria and  was admitted to the Nigerian Law School for her Bar Part 1 program.

    The programme  is compulsory for all students from foreign universities.

    Esther successfully passed her Bar part one programme  and  wrote the Bar Final exam.

    She also passed.

    Barr. Esther Chukwuemeka was on Wednesday called to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court Of Nigeria.

    Nigerian comedienne, Lepacious Bose sang Esther’s praise on her page.

    She wrote:

    “All hail Barrister Esther Chukwuemeka, the Nigerian youngest Lawyer called to Bar today at the Young age of 20….

    “Yep you read that right 20 years old!!! If you are a lawyer and you attended Nigerian university then you know say na work she do!!!

    “In our generation when you add ASUU, NASU strikes plus students riots hmmm graduating at 25 sef was a testimony!!!

    “Well done Esther 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
