    Tourism Revenues in Tunisia Drop By 19 Percent as of July 20

    Cumulative tourism revenues dropped by 19% as of July 20, to 1 billion dinars, according to figures released recently by the Central Bank of Tunisia ( BCT). However, cumulative labour income went up by 30% to 3.771 billion dinars compared to the same period last year.

    Cumulative external debt services dropped by 25% to 4.2 billion dinars as of July 20, 2021, compared to 5.6 billion dinars on July 2020.

    The overall refunding volume stood at 11.1 billion dinars as of July 28, up 11% compared to the same period the previous year.

    Likewise, the overall interbank transactions increased by almost 15% to 1.5 billion dinars.
