    Nigeria Reports 11 COVID-19 Deaths, 51 New Infections

    Nigeria health officials on Saturday said that the country has recorded 51 additional cases of COVID-19 infections and 11 COVID-19 related deaths in 5 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

    Nigeria Centre Disease Control NCDC made the disclosure in its daily COVID-19 bulletin late Saturday.

    The health officials stated that with the new fatalities recorded on Saturday, the death toll from the virus now stood at 2,960 And the total infection from the pandemic rose to 213,127.

    It also revealed that the total of 205,491 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease, including 8 recoveries reported in the past 24 hours.

    As active cases continues to decline. Now stands at 4,676 from  4,644 it was the previous day.

    The breakdown of the NCDC data shows that Kaduna topped the infection chart with 34 cases and was followed by Lagos with 11 cases, Kano with 3 cases, Cross Rivers  with cases and Bauchi recorded 1 case.

    NCDC added that today’s report includes 11 confirmed cases reported from Lagos State on November 12th (5) & 13th (6)

    Two confirmed cases reported from Cross River State are for November 11th.

    Backlog of 11 deaths reported from Edo State.

    And zero cases reported from Delta, Plateau and Sokoto States.
