    Nigeria Reports No Death, 41 New COVID-19 Cases Friday

    Nigeria registered 41 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC bulletin.

    The number of new cases saw a decrease from 65 cases recorded the previous day .

    The health officials reported no new COVID-19-related death and 20 more recoveries during the same period.

    This brings the country’s cumulative caseload to 213,924. Total recoveries were at 207,114 across the country, while the deaths count remained 2,975 the health officials said.

    As of today, Nigeria has 3,833 active cases of COVID-19

    The health officials said that the additional positive cases of coronavirus were recorded in 6 states.

    Of the new cases, Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria lead with 17 cases, followed by Plateau with 10 cases, Bauchi, Kano and Rivers reported 4 cases each and Niger reported 2 cases.

    However, today’s report includes 2 confirmed cases reported in Niger state is for 21st November 2021, NCDC said.

     Sokoto and Taraba are the only two states with no cases of the virus reported on Friday.
