Nigeria COVID-19 cases continues a downward trend as the nation reported below 50 new COVID-19 cases for the second consecutive days this month.

The nation’s health officials logged few than 30 new COVID-19 infections in 8 states on Monday , up from 20 cases reported Sunday.

Meanwhile, health officials recorded no new death. The total number of COVID-19-related deaths in the nation remained 2,968.

The nation has also deemed 38 more cases of the disease to be resolved as of Monday, bringing Nigeria’s number of recovered patients up to 205,770.

Nigeria’s known, active caseload is now 4,437 down from 4,447 it was the previous day .
