The number of new cases saw a decrease from 159
cases recorded the previous day .
Data released by the health officials, Lagos
topped the list with 19 infections, while Kano, Rivers and FCT reported 16, 12 and
11 respectively.
Other states with new COVID-19 infections are Kaduna-4,
Niger-2 and Delta-1.
Three states, Nasarawa, Sokoto and Zamfara
States reported zero cases.
With 26 recoveries reported across the country
in the last 24 hours, the total number of patients who have recovered from
Covid-19 rose to 229,676.
Currently, there are 20,593 COVID-19 active
cases in different hospitals across the country.
According to the latest update, the West Africa Country's case count has increased to 253,405 and the deaths toll stand at 3,136.
