He said it would open more opportunities for him, in
addition to going on set to act films.
Nuhu made the statement during his unveiling as Brand
Ambassador of Checkers Custard, held in Tahir Gust Palace, Kano.
He said; “For the entertainment Industry, it’s a big plus
because when brands are coming to sign celebrities, it is like opening doors
for them to have more opportunities because it is not all about just going on
set to act films.”
Nuhu said he would do everything possible to ensure that the
products is widely accepted.
“Celebrities are selected as ambassadors because of their
large followers and companies hopes to use that advantage to promote their
products so I’m going to do my very best.
“I’m a Nigerian and I’m so much into anything that has to do
with indians and that spirit of brotherhood led me to have a chit-chat with
them and got to understand we are people of common interest,”he explained.
He enjoined consumers to patronise the product, as they are
affordable ranging from family size to medium size and sachets, stressing the
items are healthy for both the young and the old.
Ali has over 500 films to his cap in Nigeria’s
Kannywood/Nollywood entertainment industry in Hausa and English languages with
millions of followers.
The Managing Director, Checkers African Limited, makers of
Checkers Custard in Nigeria, Mr Karan Checker said the choice of Ali Nuhu as
the new brand Ambassador was because of his reputable personality and as a king
in the entertainment industry in Nigeria.
He said; “When brands decide to align with celebrities, it
