BAL (www.theBAL.com) President Amadou Gallo Fall issued the following statement today regarding the passing of Louis Cyrille Jean Benoit Sie aka “Abraham”.

“The BAL family is very saddened by the tragic passing of Louis Cyrille Jean Benoit Sie. The point guard from Cote d’Ivoire, 22, was on the Dakar Université Club roster for 2022 BAL season and was part of the 2016 Jr. NBA league in Abidjan. 

We send our heartfelt condolences to his family, the DUC team, fans, and the entire African basketball family. The BAL will be honoring Louis Cyrille Jean Benoit in a special commemoration during the Nile Conference games in Cairo”.
