Former France International, Emmanuel Petit, has named his
countryman, Kylian Mbappe as the best player in the world.
He also said that his country’s chances of defending their
World Cup title in Qatar are likely to depend on Kylian Mbappe.
The 23-year-old Mbappe has already scored 26 goals in 54
games for France and Petit, a former Les Blues is expecting an impressive
tournament from the Paris Saint-Germain in-demand striker.
Mbappe picked up the Best Young Player award at the last
World Cup in Russia.
“I think [France head coach] Didier Deschamps has a bright
idea of how he wants the team to play and we have the best player in the world
as well, with Mbappe,” Petit said, according to Sports bible.
“Mbappe, his destiny is written in gold. Everything he
touches is transformed to gold,” he added.
