NCDC made this known on its Facebook page on Saturday,
noting that the new update have increased Nigeria's infections toll to 255,859.
It also said that there was no new death on Saturday
leaving the mortality tally at 3,143, while the discharged cases now stand at 249,943.
The breakdown of the NCDC data which were recorded
between 12th and 13th May, 2022 revealed that Bauchi State topped the infection
chart with 6 cases, closely followed by Kano
and Lagos State with 5 cases each.
While Kaduna, Plateau and FCT reported 4, 2 and
1 cases respectively.
The health officials added that Abia, Rivers and Sokoto reported zero cases on Saturday.
