Cases in Nigeria rose to 256,404 with 52 new infections recorded in the past 72
hours, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC.
Again no patients lost their lives to the disease,
this makes the number of fatalities remained unchanged at 3,144, while
recoveries increased to 250,137, after the health officials reported six more discharges.
The breakdown of the new cases reported in three
states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory as follows Lagos, again
reported most of the infections with 42 cases, while Rivers, FCT and Delta reported
5,4 and 1 cases respectively .
NCDC added that three states; Kano, Plateau,
and Sokoto reported zero cases.
