Manchester City are through to the Champions League
semi-finals thanks to a 4-1 aggregate victory over Bayern Munich on Wednesday
night.
Pep Guardiola's side booked their place in the next round following a 1-1 draw in the Allianz Arena in Munich. A frantic first half finished 0-0 after Dayot Upamecano had a red card reprieve when Erling Haalnd was ruled offside in the build-up to the controversial incident, before the Norwegian forward missed a penalty.
Real Madrid will host Manchester City in the first leg of
their clash on Tuesday, May 9. The second leg in Manchester will take place on
Wednesday, May 17.
Meanwhile, there will be just six days between both legs in
the other semi-final between local rivals AC Milan and Inter Milan.
Both games will be held at the San Siro stadium but AC Milan
will be the designated home team in the first leg on Wednesday, May 10.
The second leg, with Inter as the home side, will take place
