Now that we've said our 'hellos', it's time for us to turn up the volume! The HEY NEIGHBOUR team is buzzing to announce the final act for the Phase One lineup - none other than the chart-busting house music legends, Swedish House Mafia!

Joining them on our vibrant stage are the previously announced international headliners - the soulful H.E.R., the electrifying Khalid, and the dynamic duo, The Chainsmokers. We hope you're as amped about this lineup as we are!

Each of these artists brings a unique rhythm to the scene, known for their heart-stopping live performances and global sell-out shows. This makes HEY NEIGHBOUR one of the most hotly anticipated musical fiestas to hit the South African calendar in ages. Bet.

The Organisers also confirmed that the 2023 edition with the theme ‘HEY NEIGHBOUR’ one of the most hotly anticipated musical fiestas has Phase One lineup - none other than the chart-busting house music legends, Swedish House Mafia!

SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA - Multi-Platinum, Grammy Award nominated trio Swedish House Mafia consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, are widely recognised as the pioneers of electronic music with legendary live shows.  The band conquered the globe with hit singles such as Don’t You Worry Child, Save The World and One.  In 2013 they shocked the music world and fans by announcing a break with their farewell tour, which sold over one million tickets.  Now, 10 years later, the Swedish House Mafia have come back stronger than ever.

Joining them on the vibrant stage are the previously announced international headliners which includes:

H.E.R. - Three letters that need no explanation. Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist H.E.R. has had an incredible journey, punctuated with inspiring projects and accolades that have quickly ascended her to superstar status.  H.E.R. has received several awards including an Academy Award, a Children’s and Family Emmy Award, and five Grammy Awards two of which were won in 2021 – Song of the Year for “I Can’t Breathe” and Best R&B Song for her contribution to Robert Glasper’s “Better Than I Imagined.   Along with nominations for a Golden Globe Award, three American Music Awards and four Billboard Music Awards.

KHALID - Multi-platinum selling global superstar Khalid, who was named one of Time’s Most Influential People of 2019, has taken the world by storm since his first single, the certified diamond “Location” (released right before his high school graduation) exploded onto the scene leading to a major label deal with Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records followed by the release of his debut album, the 4x platinum-certified, American Teen. Khalid’s latest offering “Numb” with Marshmello marks the artist’s second collaboration following their 6x platinum smash hit “SILENCE”.

THE CHAINSMOKERS - The Chainsmokers are an American DJ and production duo consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. They formed in 2012 and gained widespread recognition with their hit single “#Selfie” in 2014. The duo has since released numerous successful singles, including “Closer,” “Something Just Like This,” and “Paris.” They have won several awards, including a Grammy for Best Dance Recording, and have been named one of the top 100 DJs in the world by DJ Mag. The Chainsmokers are known for their upbeat and catchy electronic dance music, and for collaborating with popular artists such as Halsey, Coldplay, and Bebe Rexha.
