KOTOR
Any Star Wars game is worth your while, but none of them are
like KOTOR. This game comes from 2003 and it lets you create a character that
will gather a crowd of allies to fight the Sith or join them. You’ll get
missions galore and many planets to visit.
You can also play some Pazaak. In this game, you’ll battle
NPC with cards by scoring 20 or around that number. In addition you can take
part in and bet on swoop races. Swoop racing is much like the racing of today,
a popular sport in the SW universe. Nowadays, sports are covered by various
sites like www.novibet.ie that
happen to be favorites among sport bettors. The main thing about them is to
enjoy them responsibly.
The best part about this RPG is that you’ll get to influence
the game with your decisions in dialogues. Your actions will tilt you toward
the light or the dark and you’ll either become a Jedi hero or a Sith overlord.
The choice is yours.
Assassin’s Creed II
The entire franchise can easily fit in here, but there’s
something special about the second installment. You’ll get to meet Ezio Auditore da
Firenze, a brash young man looking to live the best life, but all that changes
when his father and brothers are set up and locked up for treason. They are
executed and Ezio takes his revenge on the judge. Then he flees to
Monteriggioni with his uncle and learns that his father’s death was part of a
bigger conspiracy, a conspiracy between Assassins and Templars. His uncle
trains him in the ways of the Assassins and sends him searching for the Apple
of Eden.
There are many things that make this game amazing. The
visuals aren’t that good compared to games nowadays, but the story is so good
it hooks you right from the start. You’ll get to climb any building you want
and visit Venice, Firenze, Milano, and Rome during the Renaissance.
Mafia II
Since there are already 2 RPGs on the list, you might be
looking to get a third option. Mafia II is another RPG, but you’ll be put in
the shoes of Vito. He’s an Italian-American who gets in trouble with the law
while robbing a store with his friend Joe. Instead of prison, he decides to go
to the Army and is drafted during WWII. He makes it out alive and manages to
come home.
It doesn’t take long for him and Joe to go back into
business, this time doing the hard stuff for made men. Vito manages to end up
in prison again where he meets Leo Galante and learns about how things are in
the mafia. But the story quickly turns sour and the friendship between Joe and
Vito is put to the test. It’s a mafia game like no other, so consider it.
