The women who were nominated by employees who had seen their
viral videos on social media, shared their unique experiences during a courtesy
visit to Terminal HQ, highlighting how they discovered an avenue to do
something unique within their environment and eventually got noticed for
thriving in male-dominated industries.
Speaking at the event, Nnamdi Okoh, CEO of Terminal Africa
applauded the impact these women have within their environment and encouraged
them to continue to give their best as they were nominated for this outstanding
recognition by people who had observed their good work.
Inspector Justina Rita Omogbai and Mrs Ayomikun Ifedayo both
shared challenges and discrimination they encountered in their roles, which
further strengthened their belief to remain persistent and committed to doing
good work. They have excellently demonstrated their commitment to improving and
adding value to their environment regardless of their circumstances.
As Terminal Africa continues to provide simplified logistics
solutions for businesses within Africa and beyond, it also recognizes and
celebrates admirable efforts by humans who are committed to creating a lasting
impact within their environment.
