Nigerian sensational nightingale, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, better known by her stage name Simi, has released the visuals for her latest song “Stranger”.

The video was posted on her YouTube page and other social media accounts on Friday.

Directed by Pinkline Films, the video blends with the soul-lifting melody of the song. Simi, 35, is seen wearing a pink sheer dress adorned with a diamond encrusted neck piece.

The dress, full of pleated frills, is a transformative piece by Nigerian stylist, Swazzi.

She leads the acoustic and back-up singers to the awe of her fans.

Speaking on the track’s key themes, she said “The power of love renders you powerless, and may the heavens help you, if you’re powerless for someone undeserving. Is it love when it transforms you so strongly, you find you’re becoming different from the person you always thought you were – the person you thought you were capable of being. Is it love? The song is about love that changes you for the worst”.
