The United States of America’s (USA) men and women’s teams grabbed the gold medals in the 4x100m relay at the ongoing World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary on Saturday.

In the men’s 4x100m relay on Saturday night, the USA’s team anchored by Lyles Noah ran a time of 37.38 seconds in the final to grab the gold medal ahead of Italy and Jamaica.

The time was a World Leading time ran by the USA men.

Italy took the silver in a time of 37.62 seconds while Jamaica took the bronze in a time of 37.76 seconds

In the Women’s 4x100m relay, the USA’s team anchored by Sha’Carri Richardson ran a World Championship time of 41.03m to defeat the Jamaicans who came second in a time of 41.21 seconds, while Great Britain ran a time of 41.97 seconds to come third.

The US’ Women’s team include Tamari Davis, Tee Tee Terry, Gabby Thomas and Sha’Carri Richardson, while the Jamaican team includes Natasha Morrison, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Shashalee Forbes and Shericka Jackson.
