MultiChoice Nigeria, in partnership with Tolaram Group, producers of Indomie Instant Noodles, are set to premiere a 13-episode family game show tagged, “Indomie Instant Noodles Love Bowl”. The companies during a news conference on Thursday in Lagos, said that the show was aimed at creating bonds between mothers and their children.
The “Indomie Love Bowl,” a reality family game show sponsored by Indomie in partnership with Multichoice, is set for premiere on October 22, 2023.The show, which spans a total of 13 episodes, is set to
feature three families per episode, all vying for the coveted title and
substantial prizes.
The winners of the reality show will receive generous
rewards, with the first-place family taking home a substantial 5 million Naira,
while the first and second runners-up will receive 2.5 million Naira and 1.5
million Naira, respectively. In addition to these cash prizes, the winning
families will also enjoy a two-year supply of Indomie products, known for their
delectable taste and quality.
Speaking on the motivation behind the show, Asiwaju
Temitope, Head of Corporate Communications for Indomie, highlighted the brand’s
strong association with love and excitement within the food category.
The show’s objective is to take these values a step further
by creating an engaging game show that showcases the unique bonds within
families, particularly between mothers and children. The partnership with
Multichoice was a strategic decision due to its extensive reach and the
widespread availability of DSTV in countless households.
“We created this games show and we chose this with family
represented by mums and children. It’s going to involve several families and
winners willl emerge based on the programmes. 3 families will emerge as winners
with consolatory prizes. We chose Multichoice because it is a big reach and
there’s no home where you won’t find DSTV”.
Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at Multichoice West Africa, emphasized that the “Indomie Love Bowl” is built around the themes of unity, bonding, and the affection shared between mothers and their children. It is poised to premiere on October 22, 2023, at 7 pm on Africa Magic Family channel, promising to generate excitement and dynamic interactions between family members.

Stephanie Coker, the show’s host and an On-Air personality,
expressed her delight at being part of the project, especially as a mother
herself. She shared her enthusiasm about watching the show with her own
daughter, appreciating the beautiful bond between mothers and children, the
thrilling games, and the strong team spirit. She also highlighted the chemistry
she shares with her co-host, Darasimi, which is sure to delight the audience.
Darasimi, the 12-year-old co-host, spoke of her joy while
working on the set alongside Mrs. Stephanie Coker. She described how
Stephanie’s presence always brought happiness, even during moments of differing
opinions, and expressed her excitement about the competitive spirit that the
show exudes.
Viewers can tune in to DSTV’s Africa Magic Family channel at
7 pm. The rerun will be on the 29th october on Africa magic urban channel
betweeen 5-6pm. It will also run on Africa Magic Showcase on the 29th october
between 6-7pm.
