Arukwe, who plays Chidoke, an Igbo businessman and money
launderer in the film said over the past few months, he had been publicly
criticized by many who claim he overdid the Igbo man’s dialect and enunciation
of ‘R’s’ and ‘L’s’.
The actor in his chat with BBC Pidgin begged to differ. He
noted that while he is open to criticism, he does not believe that the
overplayed his character, since he did his research prior to playing it.

his character was a good part of what made the movie.
