The milestone was celebrated with a grand banquet at his
residence, attended by friends and family.
Various dignitaries paid tribute to him, recognizing his
impactful gospel music and exemplary lifestyle.
Pastor Tunde Kajogbola, Founder of Graceway Chapel
International, spoke highly of him, saying, “Baba Ayewa is my father and he is
a worthy father, an amiable teacher, and a vessel of God’s grace. He imparts
this grace to everyone around him, correcting with love and nurturing younger
ones without highlighting their mistakes.”
Emmanuel, Baba Ayewa’s first born, shared, “Dad is an
amazing personality and a man of God. He is straightforward, God-fearing, and
prays frequently. His life is truly worth emulating.”
His daughter, Funmilayo, stated, “Dad is fun to be with if
you understand him. He is disciplined, stemming from his military background,
and he dislikes hearsay. Despite his strictness, he cares in his own way.”
Serah, Ayewa’s daughter-in-law, added, “Grandpa is a
free-spirited person, a God-send. He has made significant impacts in many
lives, including mine. Whenever I feel down, Grandpa’s encouragement lifts me
up.”
