Nollywood actor Uzee Usman has expressed his disappointment regarding the repeated instances of betrayal he has encountered from individuals he considered close associates.
In a recent post, he conveyed his dismay at the manner in
which people prioritize their personal interests, demonstrating a lack of
concern for the challenges faced by others. He emphasized that ultimately, each
individual is responsible for their own well-being.
Regrettably, individuals perceived as confidants frequently
exploit vulnerabilities during times of difficulty, rendering it challenging to
maintain silence amidst suffering.
In light of the current challenging circumstances, the actor
expressed skepticism regarding the authenticity of his followers’ concern and
care.
He wrote, “In the end, nobody cares. Whatever you’re going
through, you’re on your own. If you talk to someone, they exploit your
problems. If you don’t, you suffer in silence. People pretend to care, but they
really don’t. Do you?”
