Air Canada has entered into an agreement with BOC Aviation to acquire eight Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
Air Canada announced on Tuesday that it has entered into an agreement with BOC Aviation, a lessor, to acquire eight Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
The delivery of the jets is anticipated in 2024.
Subsequently, they will undergo the necessary modifications prior to their
official commencement of service in the subsequent year.
At present, there is a sustained high demand for travel both
domestically and internationally, and this agreement is being made in light of
this.
All eight aircraft, equipped with CFM LEAP-1B engines, will
initially operate with a single economy class configuration until they undergo
reconfiguration.
BOC Aviation is a Singaporean global aircraft operating leasing company and the largest aircraft operating leasing company headquartered in Asia, as measured by the value of owned aircraft.
