The highly anticipated national finals of the 24th Milo Basketball Championship (MBC) concluded at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium in Lagos. Ijaiye Housing Estate Grammar School from Lagos State and Dom Domigos College from Delta State emerged as the triumphant champions in the male and female categories, respectively.

In a gripping and exciting game in the boys' division, Ijaiye Housing Estate Grammar School emerged victorious against Father O’Connell, Niger State. The match concluded with a tie of 38-38 at the end of the fourth quarter, leading to overtime, during which Ijaiye Housing Estate Grammar School ultimately defeated the team from Niger State with a final score of 49-45.

In the women's division, Dom Domigos College from Delta State emerged as the national champions after defeating the reigning champions, Topfield College from Ajegunle, with a final score of 44-38.



In his address, Nestlé Nigeria Plc's Managing Director, Wassim El-Husseini, commended the participants for their competitive spirit and extended his congratulations to all on their journey. In addition to the main competition, the championship also had a special category dedicated to young individuals with disabilities, underscoring its dedication to fostering diversity and inclusivity.

The winners were awarded a championship trophy, monetary rewards, basketball uniforms, and a variety of MILO products.
