Professor Wale Sulaiman, a Canadian and American-trained neurosurgeon from Kwara State, has been formally installed as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Science in Ila Orangun (FUHSI).

On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu officially inaugurated the newly appointed members of the Federal Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges across Nigeria during a ceremony held at the National Universities Commission in Abuja.

In his inaugural address, the esteemed Neurosurgeon and Physician Executive lauded the transformative initiatives of President Tinubu in the Nigerian Education sector, a pivotal component of the revitalized hope agenda. He conveyed his deepest appreciation and profound sense of duty for the privilege of serving the nation once more in such a significant capacity.

In his opinion, Nigeria’s education sector is poised for transformative growth through research, innovation, financial reform, creative concepts, and strategic partnerships both domestically and internationally. I am thrilled to be a part of this transformative journey.
