Sergio Gomez has departed Manchester City Football Club to join Real Sociedad.


On Friday, Sergio Gomez completed his permanent transfer from Manchester City to Real Sociedad.

The 23-year-old left back had a two-year tenure at City, during which he made 38 appearances and secured six trophies. However, he was unable to solidify his position as a regular member of the starting lineup.

The agreement is valued at a maximum of 10 million euros ($10.9 million) and includes a 30% sell-on clause in favor of City for any potential future transfer fee.

Gomez transitioned from Anderlecht, a Belgian football club, to Manchester City Football Club.

Subsequently, Sergio Gomez departed from Manchester City Football Club to join Real Sociedad.
